You think IVF is cheap, easy, or a 100% guaranteed sucess?
How about this idea:
Take the money you would have spent on IVF and invest it. Have your potentially defective child. IF at some point in the future Junior has HBP, asthma, or bad vision; the money you invested should be able to pay for plenty of BP meds, inhalers, and/or glasses? Who knows what the future holds with an anonymous sperm donor.
