Hope he's telling the truth. If he's been falsely arrested it's a grave miscarriage of justice.

I first attest I have no idea what happened in this situation but after being on a jury in a somewhat complicated and lengthy civil trial 20 years ago I can assure you there are plenty of innocent people in prison after being in that jury room discussing the case. It was astounding the ones that didn’t listen, didn’t care and flat out didnt have the intellect to piece together coherent trains of thoughts. I have said many times in the years since that I shudder to think if that group of individuals were ever needed to decide a life in prison fate for myself. This is where legal system gets twisted with who has the cash and who doesn’t when it comes time to secure a competent legal defense team. I have no doubt if you ever find yourself in random set of events where the police are involved and you end up with inadequate legal counsel you could find yourself in a really bad situation.

A lengthy and complicated "civil" jury trial 20 years ago? I can see why you consider yourself an expert for assuring us that "criminal" jury trials result in unjust convictions.

The vast vast majority of people charged with crimes did the crime they were accused of committing
