ESPN+ and SEC + Disaster i

I'm old but have reasonable technology skills. Like many of you have posted, the stability and functionality of ESPN+ and SEC + is archaic. Customer service is non-existent. About every 10 days, we get a message while trying to log in to SEC + that we have to authenticate. It usually takes a couple minutes and then we can watch SEC+. Yesterday and today the option to authenticate wasn't avaiable. So we call customer service. As expected, after a lengthy wait we get a nice person that can't speak english. During a difficult communication attempt in which she would leave us to talk to IT, the old stand by solution was offered. Unplug the tv and wait 1 minute and then plug it back in. It didn't fix the problem and after her conversation with IT, she came back to say it was Direct TVs fault. I tried to talk with her and she hung up.
The BIG has CBS, NBC, and FOX. The SEC's wagon is hitched to ESPN. Are we headed to a financial disaster with the incompetence of ESPN and Their total disregard for customer service. Do the ADs and SIDs known how Jane and Joe Public are being treated by the only network with our product? The only way football and to a much lesser extent basketball makes money is eyeballs that drive advertisements.
I'm afraid that in the long run, we're headed toward a financial inequality.
How many of you are experiencing functionality and/or concerns?
