re: Why do dealers make car buying so difficult

For the people that scoff at things like CarMax and Carvana - the dealer experience is the reason those places were created.

I respect folks that enjoy the process of haggling and negotiation - but a lot of people just want to see a price and pay that price. They pay more - every time - but they seem happier to have avoided the charade.

I’ve not had a ton of bad dealership experiences - but I get why people want to avoid them.
