Uplifting story
BATON ROUGE - Two juveniles, aged 10 and 12, were arrested in the beating death of a three-year-old child Friday evening.
One adult, who was the mother and the aunt to the two suspects, Terica Scott, was charged with principal to battery and principal to second-degree murder. Scott was an acquaintance of the victim's mother. The two juveniles were taken into custody, charged with simple battery and second degree murder and booked into the EBR Juvenile Detention facility.
According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, the three-year-old, identified as Blessing Yates, was brought to the hospital in critical condition with a brain bleed, along with bruises and abrasions to the face and body that were consistent with blunt force trauma. She passed away from her injuries Wednesday, Feb. 14.

These kids will be on the streets again at 18 and back in jail for another murder by 20. All we can hope is that their future victims are other thug criminals and not a productive member of society.

When I saw this on the news, I had to get up and hug my kids, then go for a walk. shite like this always hits me. My worst fear is that one of my children will end up in a situation where I won't be there to tell them that it will be o.k. That I am there to take care of it. I've lost a lot of people that were in bad situations, alone. My sister OD'd in a hotel room back in 2020. Sitting with my mom, all she could think about was that my sister died alone.

What sort of fricking monsters do this. There is no hope for some people.
Just put a bullet in them and be done.

When is the asteroid supposed to hit again?

I’ll say it again…if a juvenile commits a felony, the parent should be given a choice: serve time and the kid gets a reduced sentence or don’t serve time and they’ll be sentenced as an adult. And if the parent chooses not to serve time, they should lose all government assistance. But a 10yrs old? Jesus that’s terrible!

You left this part out. I wonder what the details were.

Scott also was previously arrested for second-degree murder in 2021 and arson in 2022. She never went to trial for the murder charge, as the grand jury opted not to formally charge her.

No bail.
Because bail is racist.

Some cultures are just rotten to the core and don’t belong in normal society.

Police say eight juveniles ranging from ages 11-months-old to 12-years-old were left unattended for several hours in the residence. Scott repeatedly admitted knowledge of the suspects' violent behavior in interviews.

Fatherless behavior. At some point we will be allowed to talk about culture but I guess not yet.
