Some ppl are so miserable. The person receiving donations, don’t care the reason for the donations. It helps them with whatever their cause or situation is.
The lady helps with a tragic situation and all you guys do is complain.

Man, I hope Putin, Elon or Dana White give someone in need some bucks soon so you and Petty can be happy again. I can feel your anger through the screen and it concerns me.

If your net worth is a 1 million then it’s the equivalent of a $280 gift.
Yes a nice gesture but let’s keep it within the big picture

That said, it's probably the equivalent of a 250 dollar donation from an average dude. Which is great, but nobody is writing stories about it.

she's one of a very few entertainers who are worth over a billion dollars. the negative press she would receive if she didn't do stuff like that would cost her much more.

she may 100% be doing it out of the kindness of her heart, but there is also a huge incentive for her to do so

all those who say "it's a drop in the bucket" should look at it from the point of view of the recipients. To them it is a flood.
Not to mention the “drop in the bucket” folks aren’t doing shite to help except sending their thoughts and prayers while eating fried fish today like it’s some sort of Herculean sacrifice.

Which is exactly one more dollar than you will donate.

I'm surprised it wasn't a joint press release from Taylor and Travis to help with his bad press lately from the Andy Reid interaction and his viva las Vegas/ friends in low places fiasco.

Still generous. I'm not giving up my lunch.

Most of you people in this thread probably bitch and moan about how the super rich never help out the working class. The minute one does, it’s impossible that it was for an altruistic reason. A lot of y’all just want to be miserable for no real reason.

dear god - the Rock and Oprah get shite for asking for donations (and rightfully so imo), but Swift does something nice that she is not obligated to do, and you guys bitch about her.
there really is no way for some of you miserable fricks to be happy. I am not a Swift fan by any stretch, but for fricks sake - how about trying to not find something negative in every fricking thing for once.

Thats great but it seems more about publicity.
She has yet to say a word about Tony Keith passing and he gave her a start in music.

Yes it's a drop in the bucket for her but it's still nice. There are a lot of rich people that give nothing to noble causes. I'm still not going to listen to her music but again it was a nice thing to do.
