Garnish gumbo with scallions and gumbo filé, if desired, before serving.



Nothing like a good tomato paste roux and more tomatoes on the back end...



Finished product picture. As said earlier, looks like a decent slow cooker chicken and tomato stew, but not a gumbo by any means.
