I'll gladly pay for season tickets b/c it's one thing I love in life (hence, my screen name). I'll gladly pay for bowl tickets too. But in the years past, I wasn't even given a shot (not even for the Cotton Bowl). And if I wanted a shot, I had to wait for the scraps of those that went through the line 3, 4, sometimes 5 or 6 times snatching up tickets (if I wanted to pay less than a 500% mark up on Ebay). So in other words, I wasn't even given a realistic shot.

And that's not just me, that's the entire LSU fanbase. But now, LSU is stuck with a gob of tickets, and those of us that are given the middle finger every bowl season is given the finger this year, but for a different reason. So, in other words, we can't win. And then we're pasted on this board by some of the members for being "the bad ones" in this situation.

I told myself after last year, "I'm just going to accept the fact that I will never go see a bowl game". Again, that's not just me. I think most of LSU fans reached that point.

Alright, I'm calling you out as completely full of shite. If you wanted tickets to the 2003 Cotton Bowl, all you had to do was call LSU. I know, I did that. I did not order cotton bowl tickets that year but decided at last minute to go and went to ticket office and bought 3 seats in the endzone. You are a fricking liar if you say you were denied Cotton Bowl tix by LSU.

If you wanted tix to 2000 peach bowl, 2005 Capital One bowl or 2005 Peach Bowl there were plenty of tickets available, as TAF did NOT have to implement priority point distribution. But you're lazy as probably didn't WANT those tickets b/c LSU didn't have a "great" season in your mind. Now you have nerve to bitch about bowl ticket availability when you CHOSE not to attempt to get tickets to at least 3 bowls this decade.

The fact is, the only bowl games LSU did not have tickets for people such as yourself were the 4 Sugar Bowls in N.O. this decade. The obvious reason is b/c its a "local" bowl following tremendously successful seasons. OBVIOUSLY supply is greater than demand. The TAF point plan is the way LSU chose to distribute those tickets. You may argue its not fair to fans that don't have money but you can't say LSU has denied you the right to go to all previous bowl games b/c its not true.

So why did you not attend the cotton bowl and 2 peach bowls this decade? If you "never go see a bowl game" its by YOUR choice.

Also I donate a mere $400 a year to TAF for my 2 season tix in NEZ and got tix through TAF to the last 3 Sugar Bowl/NCG LSU played in. Not all TAF members give $5000 a year. You, like many others on this board, are just a cheap bitch that thinks LSU owes you tickets to the premier events when you apparently don't donate shite.
