All true.

But if they are listing it for $5,500, that tells me they aren't serious about needing to sell it. And if they can let it sit on the lot, then the carrying costs must not be much.

As others have said, I'd be curious if this dealer has similar issues on other cars on the lot, or if they maybe just mispriced this vehicle.

At this price, you are basically acting as a "buy here, pay here" type lot.
