Only time you see stage one guild navigators is in the first scene of the first film. If you’re asking why there werent more of them then you’re really asking why this couldn’t be a 5-hr movie

I wish it was a 5 hour movie, that's how much I liked it. I could have sat there all day and watched it.
The one scene that had me hyped was when he revealed himself as the savior to the fremen and said the Dune line. Chalmet killed it in that scene

It seemed like such a big deal in the '84 movie, then next to nothing in these 2?
LOTR had faithful backstory introductions for all 3 movies.
World building seems to be lacking a bit in this one, but I get why Deni didn't want to try a beat for beat remake.
