re: Explain Mardi Gras to an Outsider

I just walked from uptown to garden district. Observed family and friends from every social class and age having a great time on a random Tuesday everywhere else.

Actually hate being with the masses these days and had to be dragged out but loved every minute today. Actually made me appreciate living here for the first time in awhile.
