Yes. It’s a cultural thing here to “mix a drink for the drive” if you’re going out to eat or something.

Largely because of the back roads here. You can get almost anywhere without hardly touching a highway

Same for the Arkansas side. Stay on the backroads, turn rows or levee and you’re good. That came straight from the sheriff’s mouth.

Back in the day, we could go from Greenville to Chevy’s and barely hit blacktop. Good times and I am just glad to have made it through.
