Mike Detillier for one said that Shand would move inside to DT. I don't think he mentioned Jones but as several posters have pointed out, Jones has become too slow for an outside guy due to his putting on weight.

What makes you think that they won't? Do you believe that our new defense will be playing 4 DTs? Put JG and another 300lber inside, and the 280 lb guys on the DEs. We'll be better than we were last year just having a good (if not great) coach coaching the DT's and Peoples coaching the Ends and Edges. Maybe you just shouldn't watch football this year. I think we're going to be a lot better on defense. Not great maybe, but decent would've had us in the playoffs this year.
