Club hunting is as much a personality match as anything for fellowship and camaraderie.

Nice deer! I've stopped shoulder mounting for years. That looks a lot better.

I would ping them again for more info if you're in the dark, so there isn't any bad blood. I've been in areas where it boils over and gets petty. If they try and poison the well for you with other clubs or land owners, you can always open a Wildlife agent tip line for those you know about who are skirting the, which every club has.

Exactly. We have our own property but are in a lease too. All the guys in our lease are deer hunters and not horn hunters. We do kill our share of good bucks, but everyone will be happy with any deer that gets killed. We’re pretty much all on the same page.
