I'm getting to the point where I almost enjoy the food plot prep, trail clearing and general off-season maintenance as much as the actual hunting. I want my family and friends to score a good deer when they come.

*Although I'm still torqued about the huge buck I absolutely choked on this season. My blood pressure may subside enough to share it in about 5 years. So I guess I do care more about the hunting a tad bit.

I’m the exact same way. I want my wife and kids to kill deer more than I want to. It’s becoming more like that every year. I’ve already started on the new plot we are planning for next season.
