He loves to run and takes pride in “nobody can run longer than me.” I’ve literally never seen him tap out because he was too tired to keep going. I keep him in team sports because I think there’s so much that a kid learns from being on a team, but it seems pretty clear he’s built to run distances. He’s also stubborn as hell and always has been. I don’t know anything about distance running, but I imagine that would be a helpful quality.
