It really depends on your goals. I mean it’s really dependent on how much are you trying to improve. I would highly recommend 6 months to a year of regular lessons and practice before jumping into a fitting. I got fit 3 years ago for some player improvement irons when I was around a 12 handicap, now i’m a 4 and I had to get refit into a players iron this year.
