It's not a decision I would make right now. Give me the depth. Ok to Good players will not play, hopefully Naji is one of them.

So tell me what we do with a healthy competent group of say Val, Nance, Okongwu, Zion, and Murphy?

You gonna squeeze them all at the 4/5 and give the (6) of Jose, Dyson, Hawkins, CJ, BI, Herb 30 min

But yeah let's squeeze their minutes so we can have 5/6 guards play 30min

And still no backup center. This is absolutely delusional.

Jose played 13 min last night. Hawkins played 2 min. That's without Naji playing and Val getting hurt. If we add a viable backup center that can play 20-30min then where the frick do yall think we pull these minutes from?

Moving Naji helps but it doesn't fix anything. A decision still has to be made between (1) of Hawk/ Dyson/ Jose

Did you even read this? I'm willing to bet Dyson/ Hawk/ Jose will never ever all reach 20min with everyone else fully healthy.

The MOST production you can expect is 60 total minutes whether it's 20/20/20 or 30/30/0. Either way we would have to pay all 3 and 1 of them wouldn't be worth it.

You can say "now isn't the time to talk about this" but it is the elephant in room and it's why I brought Jose up.

I didn’t get making a move for Murray when we already have a logjam at guard.

Because it wasn't about Murray. It was about Okongowu and the fact that we may be able to add Murray asll with minimal additional assets. Once that cost went up then we probably backed off because we aren't 100% sure on the "cost" of just trading for Okongowu

Okongowu= valued higher than Gafford and others based on current trades.

We didn't see that as worth it. Unless we can get Murray as well with limited extra assets. Then the "value" would be worth it.

We only have 2 "lead" guards, and 1 is not a lead guard and 1 is a 15 minutes a night type of dude.

If we were really interested in Gafford, shame on Griff for not getting a deal done. Mavs got him for peanuts.

Supposedly the deal is on hold because DAL is trying to get draft picks needed to make the deal work.

Griffin got caught up with Okungwu and Murray. He always has a tendency to go after the big deal but misses the smaller ones unless its salary related. It sucks Dallas got him because they’re right below us in the standings as well.

We don’t know what the final comp is? And seems like it’s *not* peanuts because they are still trying to drum up the draft capital to compete the deal?

Interesting that nets bulls and hawks have not made one move. Still time but damn.
