Excited to see them for the first time when they come to Charlotte this week.

Really looking forward to it, as the last Dead cover band I saw was Cosmic Charlie over the Christmas break (not near as big as JRAD) was a little sloppy.

they are the best Grateful Dead experience on the road today IMO.

I'd pick JRAD over Dead & Co. every single time.

JRAD is a lot higher energy and faster than any dead cover band that’s ever been. You will be amped up like you’re at a metal show at times lol.

My favorite thing about JRAD is how quickly they change the dynamics of their jams. Stoked for the jazzfest shows, trying to decide if I go to 2 or 3 shows.

I don't really think of JRAD as a "dead cover" band. Sure, they're using dead songs as vehicles... but their style of jamming and such (where the majority of the time is spent) isn't really that similar to the Dead. Even the basic song structures are changed quite often.
