Sadly the rules in place make it hard...hell impossible for a third party. Hey. Who is running on the libertarian platform? Any one? Just a front of the uniparty to absolve them of any guilt for a fixed system.
I have been politically woke for 49 years now. And have come to the conclusion that we are ruled by a Oligarchy. Breaks my heart but that is from my heart and my mind and may God help us. We were the "New World". It seems the "old world" followed us.

Not if the third party would focus on winning house seats and forget about the Senate and White House for a few cycles. With the house as tight as it has been the last few Congresses 5 or 6 true independents and/or third party members could have some sway on certain issues.
