Everyone close to the situation is saying it won't come down to money. It sounds like A&M and LSU are pitching similar NIL deals.

Kelly has his "Process" in place. LSU will not get in a bidding war to some degree with High School propspects. Kelly will take the kids that WANT to be here and supplement that with the NIL instead of outright outbidding a school for a kid that's not necessarily here for the "Right" reasons. JMO

NIL is a part of the puzzle. For some kids it’s the biggest piece. Some understand that it’s pocket change compared to first round money.
Overall, this is a kid who has one hell of a story. No matter who he picks between us or A&M, please keep it positive. This kid deserves no negative blowback after what’s he’s been through. We’ve pillaged their class for our trench needs, no need to show our arse if he doesn’t put on purple and gold

But i have seen nothing from any source that suggests this young man has tipped his hat one way or the other.
Seems to be self-generated excitement.
And, to his credit, he has kept his camp small, quiet, honest and professional in their dealings with others.
I really would like to see Bussey in BR, but the last time he spoke to the issue, he committed to A &M and there has been no public de- commitment.
We're still outside, looking in as i see it...
