are you serious? He couldnt get congress to move on anything. He even offered the dems amnesty and they turned him down. He still got the border under control, mainly due to executive orders. Crossings hit historic lows under Trump.
Biden came in and undid all of those orders on day one, so how TF is Trump responsible for the current situation?

He's not responsible for it. He's accountable for not fixing it, which should be obvious.

I don't remember his promise being, "I will complete the big beautiful wall, as long as it's not too hard."
It is okay to expect a president to be able to effectively lead his own party.

No, they didn't. Crossings were higher in Trump's four years than they were in Obama's last four years.
