I did grandmas last summer. Amazing run and couldn’t recommend enough. Just make sure you have a good plan to get to the busses for the start. The traffic race day is nuts.

Also be ready to have to poop in the woods near the start line. Porta potty situation was a disaster there.

Haha thanks for the tips - glad to hear you enjoyed it. Is there enough to do in the area to spend the week with the family? That’s my plan with these destination runs - the run is a small part of the trip, not looking to fly in somewhere for a weekend.
