People are so upside down on vehicles right now because dealers raped them during Covid that it is even harder to trade out of them.

I'm noticing that. I guess my question is, is used inventory going to dry up because folks wont be able to sell the ones that they're upside down on?

Ultimately, do I buy now or wait a few months? I can make arguments for both ways.

I did really well right after covid and got premium money on my trades so it balanced out my new purchases.

This is the problem. Most can’t afford to sell them at this point and take the loss. Seeing the same thing with overpriced used boats now as well. People asking way too much because that’s what they owe.

No bud, I’m not paying $70-$80k for your 3 year old bass boat because you were an idiot.
