For sure, but I doubt he thought the organization would be this inept at developing young players. It's not like they didn't try and help him win they signed Shohei and Rendon was thought to be a difference maker but can't stay healthy. They just missed on that one and the organization seems to have some rot in regards to talent dev, scouting, and drafting.

Yea he's from Jersey, but you just can't say no to that deal at his age at the time all things considered.
