I agree to a certain extent. Yes he had drew now he had carr . So to me if he had a QB with half the talent drew had then we wouldn’t be talking about him like he this awful coach . I just don’t think he had the talent to produce an offense like 2012 . So this is more of a roster problem. Not a Pete Carmichael problem. And I think we will see that next year with our new OC . I’ll shut up till then maybe im wrong tho . We shall see hopefully I’m wrong and carr turns into an all pro QB . And AK finally rushes for 1k yards in a season

I think you also need to take into consideration that in 2012 the offense the Saints were running, CSP's offense was still fresh and most teams were trying to emulate it. Fast forward to 2023 and the offensive strategies have changed significantly but the Saints approach hasn't. For sure it's a combination of things but it starts with a shift in offensive game planning and play calling.
