I have been to PR twice.
San Juan and east side of island once, west side of island another time.
Very cool place. Rainforests, Caves, beaches, bio bays, etc
Many very cool things to do.
And you can take a ferry or quick ride to the islands of Culebra or Vieques which are both amazing
