Nah. Symbolism matters. Truth matters. Trying to hide behind moral equivalence and denying the virtue exists or even matters is sophistry at its most mediocre. When a society descends to such pedantic nonsense as, "What's good for the goose is good for the gander" when related to literally good vs evil, then it has failed to properly instruct its citizens.
