I don’t believe that. With the correct diet he could maintain weight just not as visceral fat. And removing that would help. It would be a small percentage, but every minimal percentage gain matters at that level. Beer and shite food affects the mind and body. Eliminating it allows for a gain.

I don’t not beleive Mahomes currently has the ideal body for his competitive peak

I'm not commenting on his diet because I don't know. You say every minimal percentage gain matters at that level. Percentage gain of what exactly that would definitively make him a better qb?

Regardless, you are speaking from a partial physical view of his upper body, not considering other aspects such as throwing mechanics, flexibility, mobility, reaction time, etc. All of those matter more than abs for an NFL qb.
