There is no way they are allowed to leave at this point.

Have to be optimistic in the future now if you’re an O’s fan.

Yeah they're not leaving Baltimore.

They are wanting a new stadium though. They should not move, but Baltimore will have to pony up for a new stadium. Camden Yards was state of the art in the 1990s.

Well then they shouldn't have signed a new 30 year lease 45 days ago.

And Fenway was, too, in 1912...
Camden Yards is iconic. You don't tear it down.

They are wanting to upgrade in and around the stadium. Enhance the fan experience

This. If you've been there, you understand. It's what all baseball stadiums should be like.

If the past decade is any indication, you don’t tear down Camden Yards… you tear down much of Baltimore near it.

Why? I understand a remodel, but new ballpark is beyond stupid.
After the infiltration of politics in sports, I’m ready and actively promoting federal legislation against funding pro sports venues. If sports picks a political side, no more funding!

Camden is one of the best parks in MLB.
Beautiful stadium with a great environment.
Also worth mentioning there was recently an agreement to keep the O’s in Camden for the next 15 years

Angelos was quoted as saying: "When people talk about giving this player $200 million, that player $150 million, we would be so financially underwater that you'd have to raise the prices massively."
Yet your team is worth $1.7 billion
Numbers don't make sense

Equity and cash flow are separate.
The business may be worth a lot but if the money isn’t coming in when you need it, you can still be fricked.
The Hornets got turned back over to the NBA because Shinn kept having trouble making payroll due to his debt service.

It makes perfect sense. The only way to realize the worth of something is to sell it. Which seems to be what he is doing.

Incorrect. They want to renovate it to continue to improve the experience and the areas immediately around the ballpark. As noted by most, it’s one of the best MLB experiences and the O’s and the state seem to be in agreement in wanting to keep it that way.
