This doesn't make any sense to me. The guy that we drafted and sent away is now coming to the USA to either be traded or be a part of our team. Why WOULDN'T he go straight to our team/ facilities? We drafted him...

That's like saying we won't trade Kira because he has been here. He's part of our team until he is not. Even if he gets traded he's going to report to our team until that's official.

It also makes more sense to tell the guy you drafted in person that he is getting traded and will have an opportunity/ new start from another organization. I wouldn't read anything into him being in Nola other than our roster may change.

Because you would presumably just trade his draft rights, unless you needed to do a S&T to put salary in the deal.

But he isn't part of the team, he's just a player we hold draft rights to at the present time.
