She is getting better every game. As Flau'jae said "she's a big ole teddy bear and she needs to get mean". Aneesa mentioned that she would sometimes cry during practice because she is not used to the toughness and being "mean" on the court. She has tremendous upside. Can't wait to see her develop.

It appears to me she is impoving as well. 7 boards & 3 blocks in 16-17 minutes against So. Carolina is respectable.
Interesting to hear the comments from her teammates about her being gentle. On top of developing a mean streak, I'm hoping she continues to improve with footwork & movement. She plays a bit upright.
Bottom line: she's improving and providing good minutes as a freshman. If she continues improving her athleticism and presence on the court, she should become a really solid contributor over the next couple years.

Two words: Sylvia Fowles. In Syl’s early times at LSU, it was said that she was “too nice” on the court. She had to learn to get tougher, ( in part because she is in fact a fantastic sweet person.) When she toughened up, she brought “beast mode” to the court. What a force to be reckoned with. And look at her LSU, professional and Olympic career. Here’s hoping the same is happening with Del Rosario.
