I’ve been intentionally ignoring current affairs - explain this Texas thing to me

What the hell is going on? Texas put up razor wire to protect the border. The majority conservative SCOTUS ruled it had to be removed because Biden’s argument that it prevented border agents from doing their job was apparently a valid one. Last I saw, Texas still hasn’t removed it. What’s happening now?
I’m sure I’ll get some truthful, comprehensive, and unbiased answers here. Please explain this to me as I’m 100% serious when I say I only know the surface of this issue.

Abbott signed a letter to the White House stating frick you basically.
He quoted the constitution that allows states to protect themselves from invasion. Basically potato is screwed. If he sends troops to the border there is no way he wins reelection. That would be a massive mistake. Abbott is playing chess and the potato’s handlers r playing with themselves.

I thought the ruling just gave the feds the authority to remove the razor wire, and didn't require the state of Texas to. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

The SCOTUS ruling was over a temporary ruling by a lower court. The idiots believe it means the razor wire has to be removed by order by SCOTUS. Since Biden picks and choses what laws to enforce, Texas told Biden "Come and take it."

No. SCOTUS removed an injunction keeping the Feds from removing the wire. It did not order the wire removed.

Texas is making the case that it isnt trying to do the feds job as much as its doing its sworn duty to defend Texans. The fact that the feds are not doing their job makes that necessary. Now, twentysomething other states have aligned with Abbott on this, and Biden has apparently issued a threat.

Abbott is upholding the constitutional requirements that Biden swore to uphold and has abdicated from same.
Biden is not protecting American citizens from the current invasion at our borders, and, in fact is spending federal money in promoting same.
In short.
Biden is a feckless, morally deprived, piece of shi_t traitor.

Texas is being overrun with illegal boarder crossers that are encouraged to come here by the Biden administration. All pleas and requests from Texas to the Biden Administration to secure the boarder or send help in dealing with the problem have gone ignored. The Biden administration have seized public land and parks to process these illegal boarder crossers into the system and release them back into Texas and other parts of the US.
Texas, left with no other choice secured the boarder themselves and the liberals lost their shite.

No, they ruled that the Feds could cut and remove it, not that it HAD to be removed or that Texas couldn't put it up.
It was a fine line interpretation.
