It is sickening adding up all the insurance costs I pay. Roughly $15k in insurance costs. And we have it “good”.
For medical, I do a HDHP for myself through work. My wife has herself and the kids on her plan.
We don’t have any kids of driving age yet so our premiums aren’t arse-rapingly high. Still too high, but I am dreading when we have to add teen driver(s) to the plan.
Homeowners just went up 52% in the most recent renewal.
Overall:
Medical for family: $5346
Dental for family: $813
Vision for family: $76
Homeowners: $4000
Life for me and wife: $2400
Auto for me and my wife: $2300
