It helps when the refs make the calls in your favor. South Carolina got 7 points in the second half directly off of referees blowing calls.
2 - ball goes out of bounds off of South Carolina early in the 3Q and they gave the ball to them under the goal
2 - the horrendous foul call on Angel when Cardosa threw her to the ground from behind and they called the foul on Angel
3 - USC rebound, girls loses balance and stumbles with the ball, refs ignore the travel. USC runs down the floor and charges into HVL in the lane and the ref on the baseline looking right at it doesn’t even call a charge/block/anything with bodies laying all on the floor. Of course that leaves a player wide open from the corner because HVL got ran over by a truck. Girl drains the 3

Just because you don't like the complaints doesn't make it less true.
There is no way that 6'7" behemouth who was hitting, banging and KNOCKING DOWN our players all night had ONLY 1 FOUL!!!

USC definitely increased the defensive intensity, ref definitely had several questionable calls go against LSU, our execution was questionable down the stretch and I thought we missed too many opportunities. HVL should never have shot the ball with 10 seconds left before halftime, we should have had 8 pt lead at worse. CM didn’t call tome out to control that play, error on coach and HVL. We missed too many free throws and second half rebounding was not up to par. Could have been fatigue. But I upvote you for refs impact on game!

This was my only complaint. Even after review they doubled down and made it worse. Cardoza backed over Reese from behind and knocked her down. Reese inconsequentially pulled her down after she was already falling down anyway. Should have been a foul on Cardoza.
That call forced Reese out of the game and neutered her when she came back in.
