This attitude amuses me. Did you think everyone was just going to take her at her word that there was a recording that proved her case? You wanted the low effort feel goods. As soon as it mildly inconvenienced you, right and wrong be damned.

And I bet somehow you still long for the “good old days” where neighbors helped each other out, don’t you?
