Its easier to tell you that if you are a competent marksman and choose a proper bullet, that almost any centerfire cartridge, 22 cal or larger is adequate.
I'd suggest any number of bolt guns in .308 or 7mm08 or 6.5 Creedmore or any of a hundred different calibers.
If you want specifics give us a budget, and tell us where you'll be hunting.

I agree with the 7mm08 but would also consider 6.5 PRC. I believe that’s a flatter round than the Creedmoor
