Saw a Mako at Indian Mounds Saturday morning. Now wondering if that was you. Seem to remember you talked about Mako's a while back, but can't remember if that's your sled.

We got on and off the struggle bus all three days, no pattern or consistency. Managed to make a decent trip out of it, but will not rank high on the "good trip" scale.

Weightless flukes and 1/16 oz weighted swim baits we top producers.

I remember talking about them a long time ago when I was going to buy a bay boat. Ended up with a Nautic Star. I am now in a BassCat. We were on the La. side the whole time anywhere between Slaughter and Yokum.

Weightless was our only real catcher and the ones we caught were surprisingly shallow. Some were in a little window between some emergent grass and the button woods.
