LSU has bent over backwards for him under multiple administrations, paying top dollar for his role and even making up/creating new titles for him. I believe LSU made him the first GM in college football, but maybe I’m misremembering that part…

He will leave as soon as he gets a little shine on his name again, then someone else you’ve never heard of will replace him and LSU will still end up with a class ranked between 4-10.

I'm not sure you understand, but the shine on his name couldn't be any brighter than it is right now.

He has done excellent work with both the Ole Miss roster, and got their NIL collective organized and vastly increased their ability to offer athletes attractive packages.

Do not discount what he brings to the table. This is a fantastic re-hire.
