My dad pretty much left the feeding, clothing, and general parenting of the kids to my mom, but I remember one time he walked in and my brother and I had fun dip.

He asked what it was, we said basically flavored sugar you eat with a spoon made of sugar. He couldn’t wrap his mind around that and said no and took it from us.

Running to mom and saying dad won’t let us eat spoons full of sugar didn’t get us very far.
