I’m as anti DEI as it gets, but to think this is the sole cause of any of that is pretty retarded. That’s just the easy way to turn it into a political debate and look at the other side with a gotcha. Planes were crashing for decades due to shitty maintenance and the mechanics were pretty much 100% white guys back then. This is all about using the cheapest materials and vendors possible to maximize profit.

Solid post. The reason planes were crashing 20-30 years ago was because large scale airline travel was in its infancy and the procedures and processes weren't in place to catch mistakes. But Dei is just interjecting an unnecessary problem into the mix.
