The poster to whom you replied is falling for Trump's current narrative. In additional to being involved in Afghanistan still while Trump was POTUS, the US bombed Syria, assassinated an Iraqi general (probably against international law), antagonized Iran over hunting down ISIS, hunted down ISIS, and increased belligerence against Nicaragua and Venezuela.

Trump was anything but the "'Merca First" POTUS that the idiot Tucker Carlson has programmed people to think we need in 2024.

And good for him. There is a reason that Putin didn't engage in any significant military action while he was POTUS, but did when both Biden and Obama were in the WH.

i don't know why it's difficult for people to understand that but here it is in a nutshell: If they don't think you'll stop them, the bad actors will start acting. If they KNOW you will stop them, that's when you don't have to.

People need to use common sense instead of listening to idiots like Carlson on this. It's not rocket science.

There's no such thing as avoiding conflict by refusing to act. You just delay the conflict and it grows while it's being delayed.
