i get what you are saying, but by and large, the "toxic orange man bad" stuff is a creation of the media propaganda branch. they will turn ANY conservative, GOP, Republican candidate into that same villain. the only reason Desantis and the others dont spark those same emotions is because the media hasnt ran the same kind of smear campaign on them yet. they did it to Bush, they did it to McCain, and they did it to Romney. the only reason it didnt get turned up to the level of Trump with McCain and Romney is because they never really threatened Obama. after Trump, whoever the next guy is, will absolutely receive the same villainization. we play into their hand by going along with it, in my opinion. and i'll stress again - i am not a Trump guy.
