He'd just gotten back from walking his German Shepard at the dog park this AM. Pulled into his garage and parked his truck. Blew his horn for his wife. The paramedics got their not long after. He didn't have a pulse when they arrived. They got it back several times, but he ultimately passed on. He was one of the original neighbors who bought here 20+ years ago when it was built. He was the rock of the cul-de-sac. That was about 4-5 hours ago, and his dog is still sitting in the truck and won't get out. Me and several of the neighbors and his family have tried. The whole situation is tragic.

Sad deal for the wife. Be sure to check in on her periodically to see of she needs a helping hand.

And when Strannix saunters by with his usual Vaxxed joke, just tell him to GFH.

Similar happened to my neighbor last year. Even though he was twice my age we talked a good bit almost every day. I'm still a bit depressed about it.

Sad to hear for sure.
My FIL is early 80s and just recently had a considered mild heart attack and they had to put in a stint. Could have easily been his number this past summer

My great grandfather had a heart attack and drove into a ditch with his dog riding shotgun. Dog was fine, but great grandpa died. The dog never ate another bite of food. Just curled up on the back porch and died himself a few weeks later.
