Marc Cuban recently said that if less than 90% of new jobs are going to minorities then that is a problem. That is even though white people are 62% of the population.

With mindsets like that, I would say minorities will soon be overrepresented in certain fields.

I recently unfollowed him as he’s totally changed. Cuban thinks that because he has 8m followers his opinion trumps everyone else’s.

I don’t even understand how this math works. There simply aren’t enough minorities available to fill that many positions even if you hire just anyone. Add in necessary qualifications for certain jobs and it’s not even possible to accomplish this
