The best provider is the one that works where you need the phone. Like I don't care if T-Mobile works at the mall because I don't go there. I have Google Fi but it's basically T mobile in the BTR area. Since Sprint and TMO merged.

Tmobile is rock solid throughout every area of Louisiana, I've found. If you don't care about TMobile's perks (free lowest tier of hulu, apple tv+, netfliex, mlb.tv, etc), then I'd just get a MVNO of Tmobile:
-google fi
-Mint Mobile (very easy and cheap)
-google fi
-Mint Mobile (very easy and cheap)
