Anybody live around that area? Also, seems like dirty practice to sell illegals property knowing they cannot afford it and get evicted and do it to the next person. Also, this developer’s brother gave Governor Abbot $1.4M and Beck can’t get an answer from the governor on what they got in return.

Beck has always done good work; Journalism and Charitable. He's borne some hard personal struggles but does appreciate 'sophisticated' humor and that pushes buttons for some. I respect and support him as I can.

No different than what Blackrock is doing. Buy up swaths of neighborhoods, jump up the rent to set a new market. Imagine a whole neighborhood being rent-only

Do I have to be a subscriber to watch?

I think so. I saw they played his trailer on the Valuetainment podcast today.

Developers are doing this all over the country. Not all on this large of scale, but it is happening. BTR (build to rent) communities. Buy cheap land on the outskirts, build a couple hundred units/homes and lease-up. Hold as investment for a bit and then sell entire development to a large investor/REIT, like blackrock, when the market is right. Rinse and repeat.
