Bought a house years ago the owners never cleaned shower glass we tried everything nothing worked. Was tell an old timer the problem he laugh and said oven cleaner and 0000 steel wool. It works great. Watch for over spray.

Came here to post that. Body shops use 0000 all the time to get water spots and overspray off windshields.
