Fernandez can't field an easy ground ball in the bottom of the 11th inning in Game 7 of the 1997 World Series. The winning run advances to 3rd base with one out. The Marlins score soon thereafter. And the Indians (they will never be Guardians to me) still haven't won the World Series.

rookie Jaret Wright was a stud throughout that postseason. Beats the champion Yankees in the ALDS, a loaded Orioles team in the LCS, and would’ve been a legend had Fernandez (RIP) fielded the ball.
