The NFL strives to achieve parity within the league with their draft order process and their scheduling...Strength of Schedule is a non-factor in this discussion.

- Tougher NFC division draw
- Tougher AFC division draw
These can all drive a lower record divisional champ. This is why there hasn’t been any desire to change the structure
